Forehead Lift, or a "brow lift" may be performed in conjunction with a facelift. While softening horizontal lines across the forehead, this procedure can improve conditions associated with aging such as sagging eyebrows, and frown lines and can give your eyes a fresher, younger appearance.
The endoscopic forehead lift technique has the advantage of using minimal incisions. Frown lines between your eyebrows can be treated. This procedure may be performed as an outpatient usually under general anesthesia.
A dressing will be placed around your forehead to minimize swelling. You may have a small drain tube temporarily. These are removed in 1-2 days. Temporary puffiness or discoloration may appear in the eyelid or cheek area post operatively. Any swelling or bruising that may occur usually resolves within 7 - 10 days and normal activities can be resumed after this time period.
